Sharing Canadian Experience:
The Centro Paraguayo de Estudios Canadienses (CPEC) has been active in promoting ongoing educational exchanges and visits to Paraguay of Canadian experts over the past ten years, helping to bring in Canadian expertise to share with Paraguayan institutions. This month, Dr. Robert Renaud, an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, is back in Paraguay on his fifth visit to the country to continue sharing Canadian experience. From August 5-7, Dr. Renaud delivered a workshop on the importance of evaluation in university programs, which was offered to professors at universities that are part of the Asociación Paraguaya de Universidades Privadas (APAP). The session was hosted by APAP President and Rector of the Universidad Iberoamericana, Dr. Sanie Romero de Velázquez, and was facilitated by the Centro Paraguayo de Estudios Canadienses (CPEC). On August 8, Dr. Renaud was a featured speaker at the Fifth Symposium on Humanities hosted at UniNorte, where he spoke to the philosophy, validity and truth behind educational investigation.
Thanks to Dr. Renaud, Dr. Romero, CPEC and to all the attendees at the events!
